Coventry Sling Library is committed to providing safe and unbiased help for parents and caregivers wishing to carry their children. We promote the benefits of babywearing across all ages , for both child and carer . We strongly believe that using a sling or carrier has the potential to be an invaluable tool to all families and are committed to providing a safe space and service which is accessible and available to everyone.

We have used Coventry Sling Library several times for different slings.
Having twins we didn't want to buy the wrong thing and also with me and my husband being such different sizes we wanted slings which were comfortable for us individually .

Siobhan is so knowledgeable and friendly , we tried on lots of different slings and practiced till we felt comfortable . Always would recommend this amazing service to all new and current parents

Long Lawford Lighthouse Methodist Church 10-12 2nd Thursday of the month

A small friendly stay & play taking place in the moorcroft room at Allesley Park Community centre 10-12 Every Friday till the 8th August. including school holidays .

1 adult and up to 3 children £4

Additional children and adults £2 each

No need to pre-book. Childminders welcome

Guests can enjoy exploring lovely wooden toys and natural loose parts.

Complimentary hot and cold drinks, along with biscuits, are available.

Our sling library caters to all your sling needs. The hire prices are £12 for two weeks and £17 for four weeks. Fit checks for your own slings are available at £3.

A lovely small quiet sling meet where we have the full library as well as toys , hot drinks and biscuits .

We are in the main hall through the doors on your right hand side . It is £2 per adult to attend . No need to pre book .

Our pop-up sling library is hosted monthly in Kenilworth at Milk & Mocha from 10 am to 12 pm.

Should you seek a specific item, please contact us at coventryslinglibrary@gmail.com or through our social media pages, as not all items are available during pop-up events.

Attendance is free, but we encourage you to support the lovely cafe by making a purchase.

The rental fee is £17 for four weeks. Occasionally, rentals may extend beyond four weeks without additional cost due to calendar variations. Upcoming dates include , 17th December ,21st January , 18th February , 18th March .

We will be at UCHW for Neonatal coffee and chat with some slings suitable for lower birth weight babies .

Rugby sling social

Brand new for Rugby!

Our sling social is a great way to meet other parents in an informal space , grab a drink and cake as well as offering hires and fitchecks .

Like Kenilworth pop up sling meet we don't bring the whole library along so if you are after something in particular drop us an email so we can bring it along.

We meet at bewitched coffee just outside clocktowers shopping centre and asda

We are there on the 4th Thursday of the month the next dates are 23rd January , 27th February , 27th March ,24th April , 22nd May , 26th June , 24th July .

SLING WALKS

NICU SLING & BUGGY WALK

starting back 3rd March then meeting the 1st Monday of the month.

We meet at the Memorial Park for a gentle stroll around the park before heading to the cafe for cake.

Meeting by the parent and child spaces in the car park at 10:30

Free to attend and suitable for all parents and caregivers who have had a baby in NICU .

At Siobhan's home in Coventry, we provide a range of private consultations. If you're seeking one-on-one support, want to learn a new skill in a peaceful setting, or desire a comprehensive understanding of babywearing, a private consultation is an excellent opportunity to acquire knowledge. To reserve your slot, a £10 deposit is required, with the remaining balance due on the day. Please refer to the booking calendar to view available slots.
